II Om Tryambakam Yajamahe Sugandhim Pushtivardhanam Urvarukamiva Bandhanan Mrityor Mukshiya Maamritat ||

According to the scriptures, performing the Mahamrityunjaya Jaap 125,000 times is believed to fulfill desires for a son, ensure progress, and alleviate fears of untimely death.

The Tryambakam Mantra: This sacred mantra symbolizes Shiva’s three eyes—representing the Sun, Moon, and Fire—and embodies the essence of life and protection. Through the invocation of Yajamahe, one connects with Shiva through ritualistic offerings. Sugandhim refers to Shiva’s life-giving, fragrant form, while Pushtivardhanam signifies His role as the nourisher and enhancer of prosperity.

Mrityunjaya: Known as the conqueror of death, this mantra provides freedom from diseases and fears of untimely demise. Composed of 33 syllables, each representing one of the 33 deities, it grants long life, health, wealth, and ongoing grace, ultimately leading to happiness and prosperity for its practitioners.
